Oh I just had to post a few images from last night's wedding, at the beautiful The Inn at Old Silk Mill with this amazing couple! True love isn't just a feeling, it's actions put to the feeling . . True love is summarized when you are faced with incredible challenges but yet it draws you closer and stronger! True love is what this marriage is all about! I won't begin to tell their story, but rest assured, they have one! This couple has already modeled for so many what it means to lay it all down for the other one, and to trust God! So yes, I was beyond honored to be chosen to photograph their wedding day and to capture this union! Not to mention, the Father of the bride is a fellow photographer and very good friend who has helped me tremendously over the past few years! So, here are just a few for now, but there are many more photos to come!! Juan & Susanne, may God go with you in this beautiful marriage of yours and bless you both!! *while trying to get a photo of just Juan, he couldn't take his eyes off of her, so I had to include her in the photo . ." They are so cute!!
As I began to get to know Joe & Victoria, I was thrilled to learn that the park I suggested we do the First Look photos was the same special park where they came to spend time together, and I believe they said it's were Joe proposed!! So I was so thankful that the weather on their wedding day was glorious!! This meant we could still go to the park, to do the special First Look, and Bride - Groom photos. These are some of my favorites from the whole day! Victoria was an exquisite bride and Joe couldn't have been cuter as he saw her for the first time in her Wedding gown! Best of luck to you two as you start your new life together in Florida. You will be missed!
Two weeks of watching the weather reports and worrying about the predicted thunderstorms, was just a waste of time because May 27th, turned out to be a beautiful sunny day for the Wedding of Katie & Matt. Katie & Matt were surrounded by so many family members and friends at their beautiful Church wedding in Leesburg, Va. The wedding ceremony was held at St. John's Catholic Church with it's beautiful stained glass windows and natural light streaming in. Followed by the reception at Belmont Country club in Ashburn, Virginia. What a joy it was to photograph this couple and get to know the families a bit. One of the sweetest families you'd ever want to know! I was fighting back the tears as I watched Nancy, the mother of the bride, come into the room and see her Katie for the first time in her wedding dress. Her baby girl, all grown up and about to marry the man of her dreams. Followed by a grand entrance down the vintage staircase to show her Father what she looked like in her Wedding gown. Then, watching the groom, tear up as he watched his beautiful bride walk down the aisle to him!! What a fabulous day!!
