WOW, WOW, WOW!! Loved photographing these two love birds!! I wanted to hit the pause button to have about 3 more hours to photograph the incredibly breathtaking, Taylor!! Absolutely stunning but as genuine and sweet inside! Brandon's Mother and I have been dear friends for years and I've watched Brandon grow into an incredible man. So, this wedding was incredibly special to me! I just had to get a few of their photos out in Mini-sneak peek from last night's wedding at Airlie Resort. As I was uploading their First Look photos, I teared up at their unbelievably sweet connection and the love they have for each other! It brought it all back to me as I viewed their photos. There are so many photos that I can't wait to get to the rest of them but this is just quick sampling . . .
60th Anniversary Love Story
What an honor and blessing to have the opportunity to recreate my Parent's Wedding day for them in honor of their 60th Wedding Anniversary on February 2nd, 2018! Their love story is like none other! They have blessed their 4 daughters and thousands more, as they modeled what God's love looks like in their relationship. They have selflessly loved each other through many years of highs and lows, but grew stronger in their commitment towards each other. You are madly loved Mom & Dad by all of your children, grand children, great grand children and thousands more, whose lives you have touched. I'm thankful and honored for having you both as role models in my life, and so blessed by the love you have for each other!! This celebration was a team effort with so many contributing!! Special shout out to Hair stylist & long time friend: Rose Portera. My dear friend Abbie Bradley, for giving me the idea in the first place. Lisa Reibert for helping me hide and create the bridal bouquet. Tricia Hazen for the idea of which restaurant to take you to. Special shout out to AWESOME baker & friend, Mel Tardy for the gorgeous cake (and delivery of it)! Thanks to all the family for their financial contributions and support as well. This was a team effort!!
Bryan & Elizabeth's Wedding, Nov. 2017
This is quite a story about how I met this sweet and fun couple . . Bryan & Elizabeth were referred to me by my friend Mauri, who I know from Arizona. Mauri moved to North Carolina where she worked with Elizabeth. When Bryan & Elizabeth wanted their engagement shoot in DC during Cherry Blossom Season, Mauri referred them to me because I live in Northern Virginia. So, we met in DC for their Engagement shoot. Well, I fell in love with this cute couple right away and we had such a fun time that we began talking about the possibilities of me doing their destination Wedding in Florida!! Lol, so that is how it all happened. Braden, my second shooter flew from South Carolina, and I flew from VA, and Bryan & Elizabeth flew from North Carolina and we all met in Florida for this fabulous wedding. The venue; Mayfair Hotel, was a tropical paradise. Elizabeth looked gorgeous in her beautiful wedding gown, and Bryan looked so handsome as well. Their "First look" was so unbelievably sweet that both the maid and honor and I were both tearing up! (Ok, the Maid of Honor was balling!). Each part of the wedding day was just a fun celebration of this special relationship . . all the way through the crazy dancing into the evening (those pictures are coming later). So, here are just a few sneak peek photos until I get the rest edited . . but you will see how cute these two are together and how happy they are together.
