Oh how I love this age group!! What beauties I had to work with during the Young Model Shoot this weekend. Thankfully the rain held off for a day so we could get this shoot in before the 6 days of rain that are coming!! They would have had to use a boat instead of a bike for a prop! I think what I love most about this age group is the fact that I get to watch them grow . . and mature and blossom into young women! Then, hopefully I will get to shoot them as my Senior Models in 3 or 4 years!!
Senior Model Applications being accepted now!!
It's that time of year again! I only open this up to public one time of year and now is that time!! I only have 6 slots open so if you are interested, email me, or hit "contact me" and let me know! This is for CURRENT high school Juniors and we will be doing 2 super fun, creative group shoots, one in the winter, and one in the spring! Hopefully we will be able to do a fun Snow Group shoot this year, which from what I hear, that might be huge possibility! Email me so I can get you the application and packet of information! Hopefully we will have many local school represented!
Senior Model Photo Shoot
Even though the weather predicted severe thunderstorms for Sunday June 5th, it turned out to be a beautiful day in spite of the humidity. We ventured to the Beverly Mill off Highway 66, which is a beautiful stone building that I've admired for 5 years now. http://ChapmansMill.org has more information on visits but I'd highly recommend a visit to this historic beauty! "The massive five and one half story structure, originally built in 1742, is thought to be the tallest stacked stone building in the United States. The mill supplied food through five wars, but was gutted by fire in 1998. Today, though the arson left the structure a ruin, the stabilized mill walls and the mill store still stand as a reminder of the history of milling in Northern Virginia."
