Senior Model Group shoot at Old Silk Mill

Introducing my new team of Senior Models for the 2020-21 season! Wow!! Every single one of these beauties have the most incredible eyes!! As a photographer, that is the first thing I notice about someone and I was truly mesmerized by each one of these gorgeous ladies!! They say the eyes are a window to your soul and I know I’m working with some fabulous young ladies this year! Special thank you to The Old Silk Mill, for allowing us to use their incredible venue on this chilly winter’s day!! Another shout out to HMA: Lisa Coffey for her exceptional work with 4 of the young ladies. One more shout out to all of the supportive parents who went along with my crazy idea and drove a long way to make it happen! I’m very blessed to have these families to work with this year!!

Rachel's Senior year 2019-20

Battlefield High Cheerleader, and gymnast and sweetheart, all captured here in Rachel’s senior photos. As I photographer, I always love hearing “you captured my child’s personality perfectly” because sometime I don’t meet them until the day of the shoot. Well, it made me so happy to find this out about Rachel! I try to be a good judge of character and “read” people, but little did I know that she LOVED sunflowers, lavender and butterflies, yet we captured ALL of that in her photos! Rachel just has such inner sparkle and I know I saw that in her beautiful eyes as the sunset reflected in them! Rachel, good luck to you as you finish your senior year and possibly head out to your choice college in the south. I had a blast working with you guys!

Young Model - Ava

This little 12 year old bundle of joy would make even the grumpiest person smile! She is pure delight and a sweetheart as well!! Even though I didn’t meet them in person, until the day of the shoot . . I felt like we were instant friends. Ava’s bubbly personality was so fun during the shoot. I felt myself being caught up in her enthusiasm as she literally floated in air with the dress billowing around her. I couldn’t wait for them to see the finished art. These tween photo shoots have become one of my favorite ages to shoot, because I watch their sweet innocence and freeze this special moment in time, before they grown into their busy teen - high school life. Oh I’m already looking forward to working with Ava again as one of my Senior Models when she is a Junior in High school! I am so blessed this family found me!
