When Austin's mother, Lori, mentioned that they had access to the Flying Circus Airport and wondered if I wanted to do Austin's shoot there . . the answer was YES!!! The owner, Mr. King, of the Flying Circus Airport met us out there and allowed us to photograph Austin and his grandfather (former pilot) with the old airplanes! What a fun and unique photo shoot this was! I had a vision in mind before the shoot and it was amazing getting to see it take shape! Austin's Grandfather even hand built an old Mustang airplane that was used in a parade with President Obama! It is now on display but since the Mustang was a favorite of Austin's Grandfather, he also wanted Austin to own his own Red Mustang car (pictured). This was given to him on his last birthday, I believe. Well, two weeks after this shoot was taken, regrettably, Austin was in a horrible car accident!! Thankfully, he is alive and recovering and could really use your prayers as the recovery process is still ongoing!! 14 hours after Austin's accident another family was involved in a car accident which took 3 helicopters to rescue survivors, but not all of that family survived. They too could use your prayers!! There is a petition that needs signatures to help prevent further accidents at this intersection. On a brighter note, Austin continues to get stronger and regain more of his pre-accident self so we do truly have much to be thankful for!!
