Wow! It’s SO difficult these days, to get featured in Shutter Magazine because of the crazy good talent out there . . but I had TWO images chosen for their Inspiration section!!! So blessed to also announce that the images were of my girls!! My daughter Torri and her 2 girls, and one of Phoebe Jane (my name sake)! So proud!!!
What is so thrilling about this incredible honor is the fact that Brianna Borders, (pictured) is the sister of Brittany Borders, who was one of my very first Senior Models!! Brittany also had one of her images published in shutter magazine and now her sister’s image is being published!! Now, the pressure is on because I have their younger sister (Brooklyn Borders) as one of my current 2021 Senior models!! Let’s see if I can go 3 for 3, well actually 4/4 because Brielle Borders will be coming along in the not so near future!! I do just love this family of beautiful young ladies!!

Each year, I challenge myself to do better than the last year, and this involves attending several National and International Photography workshops to learn and grow in my profession. Part of that also includes entering some of my favorite images into judging to see how these images would be critiqued and judged. This helps me learn what to improve on and how I can grow. It also shows me areas that I’m doing well in. The Portrait Masters is a Worldwide competition and I’m so honored to report my results. I owe so much to my incredible clients who have been so amazing to work with and who help me, and encourage me, in so many ways! Special thank you to each of them!!
