When Harper’s Mother contacted me and explained they wanted something a little “out of the box” and different . . I was up for the challenge. We needed a perfect location, and we found one with Bristow Manor! They are one of my favorite venues (since I’ve photographed a few weddings there) and the staff is just amazing! I called them to get special permission to do an indoor shoot. Well, the day of the shoot, we had a few things working against us . . .The weather was VERY dark and cold!! It snowed towards the end of the photo shoot. Then, the event coordinator called me the morning of the shoot to tell me she forgot that the entire venue was completely under construction since it’s their slower winter month. Yikes . . “No problem!” I said. Well, she wasn’t kidding! We had to ask the floor sander person to temporarily stop so we could hear each other talk . . and I had to photo shop holes in the floor, and poor Harper nearly froze to death because there was no heat but apart from that . . it was amazing!! The event coordinator was so sweet, and brought us something to drink and helped us in every way. I can’t wait to see the renovations when they are complete. Luckily, Harper was amazing to work with and I couldn’t help but tell her she reminded me of Phenelope Cruz! Harper is so stunning . . and she literally doesn’t even know how gorgeous she is (which makes her even more beautiful!). She is just a sweetheart though. Anyway . . here are a few of the stunning photos from Harper’s Senior shoot.
